Tea Party Express’s “Winning for America” national bus tour is coming to Port St Lucie tomorrow and will travel through Florida this week. The tour is on a trek through 25 battleground states that are key to conservatives’ victories in November. Make plans to come out to these events.

America is at critical stage in history. We’ve had a long chain of Republican and Democratic administrations that have spent more of our money and taken more control of our lives. They have done so while most Americans sat on the couch.
We sat on the couch and watched George W Bush run up large deficits as he spent money faster than it came in. We sat by when he added unsustainable expenses to already strapped federal programs. Many even sat by when he bailed out huge mega banks that were “too big to fail.”
Then came Barrack Obama.

The Florida Republican Presidential Straw Poll, called Presidency 5, will be held in Orlando, Florida September 22 -24, 2011. The Florida Straw Poll has played a major role in selecting the Republican nominee for the Presidency in each of the three prior straw polls held. Registration is free and can be done online at www.Presidency5.com. Registration must be completed by June 10, 2011. While attending the event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Republican presidential candidates face to face, and if selected as a delegate, you can play a role in selecting the Republican Presidential Nominee for 2012, but you must act today to do so!

We are 1 day from victory! Conservative candidates do need your help to win! Several races, including the governor’s race and several proposed constitutional amendments, are neck and neck and will come down to the wire. Your vote will count this year! Midterm elections are won by the side that shows up at the polls. Make sure you show up at the polls so that conservative candidates and judges win, and activist judges get tossed. If you haven’t voted yet, make sure you get out and vote tomorrow! Make sure you take your sample ballot with you. If you have candidate or amendment yard signs, take them to the polls before 7 AM tomorrow. (Yard signs need to be 100 feet or more from the door of the polling place.) Today is the last Sunday to Distribute Voter Guides before the election! Most Saint Lucie County churches and some Indian River County churches received packets of the Florida Christian Coalition Voter Guide. Each packet also contains a letter to the pastor explaining the voter guides and the Biblical reasons for informing church members of what the Bible says about issues and where the candidates stand on the issues. St Lucie County churches also received one copy of the St. Lucie County Christian Coalition Voter Guide to duplicate for their congregation. Please distribute voter guides in church today.

I need 20 volunteers in each of the above counties to distribute Local (St Lucie County) and Florida Christian Coalition (all counties) voter guides to local churches, synagogues, ministerial associations, and civic organizations. Time is running out to register voters for the General Election. To vote in the November 2nd election, a person must be registered by October 4th, and churches can legally register their members to vote and preach on Biblical principles as the apply to government.
With the potential for many Florida races to be decided by only a few votes, YOU can make a difference by organizing a voter registration drive in your church! This is an important election. Will we elect a new Governor and U.S. Senator in Florida who hold pro-life and pro-family convictions–or not?

In 40 Days we will vote on candidates and amendments that provide the opportunity to fundamentally change our cities, counties, states, and nation, for the better or for the worse. (We’ve seen plenty of the former type of change lately.) To aid you in your selection of candidates and amendments, we will soon have state Christian Coalition Voter Guides available for all counties and local Christian Coalition voter guides available for St Lucie County. I will also endorse or support local, state, and federal candidates and take positions on the proposed constitutional amendments. Today, I announce my endorsement and a campaign fundraiser for the candidate I endorse in Port St Lucie City Council, District 1.

Early voting starts today and Election Day is only 15 days away. Thankfully, we have several resources to help us decide who to vote for. I am happy to inform you that local Christian Coalition Voter Guides are available for St Lucie County at www.FLVotesValues.com. I also expect state Christian Coalition Voter Guides for Indian River, St Lucie, Martin, and all other Florida counties to be available later today at http://www.ccfla.org/guides.php. St Lucie County voters may also wish to view the League of Women Voters forum and the St Lucie Chamber of Commerce Candidate Questionnaire. I encourage you to utilize these resources to educate yourself on where the candidates stand on the issues.
Several have asked me to provide a list of candidates I’m endorsing and/or supporting in the primary election. I am going to provide this list for State and St Lucie County Races.
