We are only 6 Days away from victory! Time is running out! Conservatives need your help to win! Floridians need your help to get rid of liberal judges and to pass good amendments and defeat bad ones.
Many of you have asked me for my recommendations and endorsements on races. I am working on getting that out. I’ve just spent so much time working on the constitutional amendments guide and judges guide that I haven’t been able to finish the list. I will have the list out tomorrow though, so watch your e-mail. I have added links to the St Lucie County League of Women Voters’ Decision 2010 General Election Political Forum Video and the audio from the Martin County Political Candidates’ Forum below. Hopefully, these will help you in your decision making process.
Help Distribute Christian Coalition Voter Guide Distribution in Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin and St Lucie Counties
We have printed copies of the FL Christian Coalition Voter Guide coming this week for Indian River, Okeechobee, Martin and St Lucie Counties. I need 20 volunteers in each of the above counties to distribute Local (St Lucie County) and Florida Christian Coalition (all counties) voter guides to local churches, synagogues, ministerial associations, and civic organizations. We will have printed copies of the Florida Christian Coalition Voter Guides available for distribution this week in all counties. In St Lucie County, we will distribute one local Christian Coalition voter guide per church as ask the churches to make additional copies.
Will you help me distribute the voter guides? Please let me know by sending me an e-mail or commenting to this post online: http://bryanlongworth.com/2010/10/27/i-need-your-help-distributing-christian-coalition-voter-guides/.
Help Pass Out Tea Party Coalition Courtesy Cards
A coalition of Tea Party Groups (the Treasure Coast Tea Party, the TEA Party Patriots of the Treasure Coast, and the Glenn Beck 9-12 Group of St Lucie County) have joined together to actively support conservatives running for office and to oppose amendment 4. We need volunteers to fill two hour time slots at early voting polling locations to distributing courtesy cards. We also need volunteers to hold signs and pass out card on election day, Tuesday, November 2.
(Download a copy of the courtesy card here to pass out to your family, friends, neighbors, etc. here: http://bryanlongworth.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/2010-General-TEA-Party-Courtesy-Card.pdf) Will you help distribute the courtesy cards? Please let me know by sending me an e-mail or commenting to my post online: http://bryanlongworth.com/2010/10/25/8-days-to-victory-help-conservative-candidates-win/
Voter Guide Links
Below are links to voter guides and my recommendations for the FL Supreme Court and 4th District Court of Appeals. In each, I explain the rationale behind my recommendations. For those living in other districts, refer to the United Chistians of Florida site. Please note that the United Christians of Florida and my Judicial voter guides are partisan. As such, distributing these information in churches would violate the Johnson Amendment to the IRS 501c3 code. Anyone considering passing out partisan voter guides in church, should contact the Alliance Defense Fund prior to doing so at http://www.alliancedefensefund.org/. Churches may distributed non-partisan voter guides (such as the Christian Coalition voter guides) and may take positions supporting or opposing constitutional amendments and legislation legislation without jeopardizing their 501C3 tax exempt status. Visit (http://www.lc.org/index.cfm?PID=16245#pastors) to learn what pastors and churches can legally do in regards to voter registration, voter guides, and other activities.
