The Florida Republican Presidential Straw Poll, called Presidency 5, will be held in Orlando, Florida September 22 -24, 2011. The Florida Straw Poll has played a major role in selecting the Republican nominee for the Presidency in each of the three prior straw polls held. Registration is free and can be done online at www.Presidency5.com. Registration must be completed by June 10, 2011. While attending the event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Republican presidential candidates face to face, and if selected as a delegate, you can play a role in selecting the Republican Presidential Nominee for 2012, but you must act today to do so!

Certainly, Straw Polls don’t play an official role in selecting a candidate for office, but straw polls do play a significant role in shaping public opinion: and the winner of The Florida Presidency 1, 2, & 3 straw polls went on to represent the Republican Party as the presidential nominee. (The Republican Party of Florida didn’t hold a straw poll at Presidency 4.) This straw poll won’t replace the important primary vote but will likely play an important role in which candidates rise to the top.

One of the unique features of Presidency 5 is that attendees will have an opportunity to meet Republican presidential hopefuls face to face. Presidency 5 will feature top Republican Presidential Contenders. Of course, not all candidates have declared, but the slate may include: Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, and Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum, Jim DeMint, Rick Perry, and Tim Pawlenty. This will present an excellent opportunity to determine where a candidate stands on the issues most important to you like: abortion, taxes, spending, debt, balancing the budget, repealing Obamacare, defense, securing our borders, Planned Parenthood Funding, Terrorism, Prayer, Israel, Israeli Relations, reducing the size of the federal government to only the roles authorized by the US Constitution, and more.

What’s more, if you register today and are chosen as a delegate, you will have the opportunity to play a role in choosing the Republican nominee who will face President Barack Hussein Obama. Don’t stand back and let someone else select the front runners. Sign up today, and play a role in promoting the candidate that most closely represents your values and beliefs.
