March for Life

This Saturday marks the 38th anniversary of Roe v Wade. In the past 38 years, we have allowed the killing of over 55,000,000 preborn children and have stood by while mothers and fathers have been wounded by abortion. For those who have been personally involved in abortion, our message is one of mercy and forgiveness that only comes through the shed blood of Jesus. For the preborn children who have been slain, we ask forgiveness for not intervening on their behalf. For those scheduled to die, we say we are fighting to end abortion and will fight for their lives! I’ve listed several prolife events happening on the Treasure Coast and across Florida this weekend but want to draw your attention to three events:

  1. The Treasure Coast March for Life will take place this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Meet at A Woman’s World Abortion Clinic at 12th & Delaware for silent prayer followed by a peaceful .8 mile march to City Hall where area pastors and prolife leaders will speak. More details are listed below.
  2. Care Net Pregnancy Services is asking churches to present a prolife presentation and information about the services CareNet offers. I urge you to support Care Net and provide this information to your church. For more information, contact CareNet at 772-871-2211.
  3. Personhood Florida is asking pastors to preach a prolife sermon and collect petition signatures for Personhood FL’s pro-life constitutional petition which will give constitutional rights to preborn children and protect the sick and elderly. Sermon notes, power point presentations, and personhood petitions are available at http://www.PersonhoodFL.com. The sad fact is that abortion exists in America and in Florida because the Church allows it to exist. It is time that we fulfill our Biblical responsibility and end abortion!

Please make every effort to participate in these events.
